Professional Headshots, Modern Approach

Traditionally, a professional headshot is a head and shoulders crop of your face looking directly into the camera, often with a solid backdrop. There is almost always a need for this type of classic headshot. I find that my clients often want more variety and more personality infused in their headshots.

Enter modern headshots. While I will always capture some classic headshot images, I will also focus on eliciting more personality from you and capturing a variety of expressions, poses, crops and settings.

The Modern
Headshot Experience

    • We’ll discuss what type of headshots you want (and need) as this will determine the session length. A basic headshot is just your head + shoulders. Want to add some variety with half body shots as well? Want to incorporate multiple looks with different outfits and backgrounds? Want to showcase your professional side as well as your personality? 

    • I will recommend a location that will best accommodate your vision, whether it’s at your business location, in a private studio or a free public space.

    • We will schedule your session on the earliest date we both have available. I will send you a contract to sign and an invoice to pay a 50% retainer. (The remaining balance will be due 5 days prior to your photoshoot.)

    • You will receive my Head-to-Toe Prep Guide for headshots you will love so that you arrive at your photoshoot fully prepared and feeling amazing!

  • This is always the most fun part! I will guide you through different poses and tell you exactly what to do as we laugh and chat and listen to your favorite tunes.

  • One week after your photoshoot you will receive an online gallery with all of the BEST images from your session. You will get to choose your favorites for download and can finally replace your old, outdated headshots in all the places!

Team headshot sessions, packages and turnaround times vary depending on how many individuals I will be photographing. Smaller groups are able to be a bit more customized, whereas larger groups typically require more uniformity.
